Tonight Perry Hall Girls varsity lacrosse defeated Eastern Tech 17-2. Everyone contributed to the win, including goals scored by, Melissa Placek with 2, Stephanie Roche with 1, Sierra O’Connor with 4, Kara Taylor with 5, Marley Heller with 1, Sam Schiano with 2, Elizabeth Fitch with 1, and Rachel Norton with 1. Aniya Flanagan had several fast breaks off of draw controls, and defensively Flanagan, Heller, Schanio, and Placek slow the transition with effective double teams that resulted in forced turnovers. Holly Reik in the goal had 5 saves. Wednesday the Gators hope to advance to 3-0 as they take on Loch Raven.
