From Coach Miller:
The Gators JV Baseball team had a stunning come from behind victory on Saturday over Hereford 7 to 6. The team scored 4 runs in the top of the 7th inning to fight back from a 6-2 deficit. After the gators had given up 4 runs to Hereford in the bottom of the sixth relinquishing their 3-2 lead, Noah Supensky started the inning off with a single. After a strikeout, Trevor Rogers added another single. The team was down to their last out after a flyout but Kennard Gardner extended the game with a single and RBI. Rex Marshall followed with another single and RBI. Wendell Williams drew a walk which loaded the bases with the Gators still trailing 6-5. Glenn Dargan stepped up to the plate and with two strikes and the team down to their last strike, he delivered a single to right field knocking in the tying and winning runs for the gators. It was a comeback for the ages. Congratulations to all the players.
